Our A-Team, Woody & Dawn, traveled out to Houston, Texas to organize a Chevrolet dealership’s tool room.
Transcript of Chevrolet Dealership Tool Room Storage Inventory & Organization
We’re just wrapping up here at Mac Haik Chevrolet. We’re in Houston, Texas and this shows you how it turned out.
This was a Toolsguard job. Everything is setup with a QR code for signing in and signing out of the tool room. There is also a Toolsguard lock on the door and record everybody coming in and going out.
It’s a great way to handle your specialty tools if you are needing your tool room organized it is worth it to give us a call to talk about that. We can give you some good information even if you don’t want to use the Tool Organization Service. We are a great place to start.
We recommend that always, but… Anyway, that shows you the panels, the shelves… this is what the QR codes look like on the tag. On the tag it tells you where to store the tool.
We also made up some transmission kits. We have two shelves out in the shop with all the transmission kits on them. They wanted these to stay over in the transmission area, so we took two shelves and made them up for them.

(Continued…)
We’re here on a late Saturday night. Everyone has gone home, that is why you don’t see anyone.
They’re going to clean this area up a little on Monday and put these shelves in a different location. But, this is how we have it setup for now. On the one shelf, we have a lot of the engine stand components on it and kits for transmissions.
Over here we have the transmission boxes. Ok, with that we worked with Brian… again, if you need to have your tool room inventoried and organized you should contact Tool Organization Services.
Brian Caldwell was a great guy to work for over here, very patient and a great guy. We thank God for his help out here and we thank Tool Org. for the job.
